Misty May-Treanor Campaigns for Dancing With The Stars Return
Misty May Treanor
Misty May-Treanor is gearing up for her third gold medal this summer at the London Olympics, but the beach volleyball star has her sights set on another trophy — and a much sparklier one at that.

The 34-year old took to her Facebook page Monday to ask fans for support in securing her a spot on the upcoming Dancing With the Stars all-stars season. May-Treanor and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy withdrew from the show in 2008 after she tore her Achilles tendon in rehearsals and she believes she deserves a second shot.
"I would love to finish what I wasn't able to when I was on the show the last time," she wrote, adding that she was never voted off the first time and that she wants to perform for her husband and her fans.

With 900 likes on that post alone, perhaps her campaign might stand a chance. "Would love to see you back on Dancing With The Stars again," fan Richard Griego commented. "Good luck in all you do. Go Misty!!!"
