Mindy McCready Won’t Return Her Son to Florida Despite Judge's Orders
A judge has ordered country singer Mindy McCready to bring her 5-year-old son, Zander, back to Florida, or she will be subject to arrest, The Associated Press reports.
McCready claims that her son's return won't be likely from Tennessee — because she's seven months' pregnant.

The 36-year-old country star, who does not have custody of the child, reportedly took Zander from her parents' home on Tuesday. A missing person report was subsequently filed with police, according to the Florida Department of Children and Families.
McCready's mother was awarded guardianship of the boy in 2007, but the singer told the AP that she and her mother have had an ongoing custody battle in Florida over Zander, and alleges that her son was abused while under her mother's watch; her mother, Gayle Inge, denies the abuse allegations.

A request from comment from McCready's rep was not immediately returned.
