Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are the latest celebrities whose names are being tossed around as potential judges for the second season of The X Factor.
According to E! Online, no deal has been offered to Cyrus, 19, but The Hollywood Reporter claims Lovato, 19, is in final negotiations. The deal would see her join the judges' table alongside Britney Spears, who was reportedly in final negotiations last month to join the Fox reality singing competition.
Avril Lavigne, who performed during the finale last season, is reportedly also in talks, according to E!.

Earlier this year, the show cleaned house, axing host Steve Jones and judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. In March, remaining judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell confirmed that the two open spots would be filled by two women. Janet Jackson was rumored to be one of them, but she quickly shot that notion down. Among the other names that were mentioned as possible contenders were Leann Rimes, Stacy Keibler and Darren Criss, though the latter two were for hosting gigs. Criss reportedly already declined.
