Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has scored a development deal with MTV, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While the Jersey Shore star is not attached to a specific project yet, he'll film a pilot later this year.

Sorrentino is the latest Jersey Shore member to ink a deal with the network. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley will shoot a spinoff, as well as Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio.
MTV orders Jersey Shore spin-offs, not worried about overload
MTV executive Chris Linn says that the spinoffs won't affect the popular reality show. "I think it allows us to expand out from the base of Jersey Shore without taking away from what Jersey Shore is. They would continue to be involved in any potential future cycles of Jersey Shore," he said.
The cast starts filming Season 4 in Florence, Italy, next week.
