"He is now stronger and better than ever, and excited for this new amazing chapter in his life."
Mike "The Situation" admits prescription drug addiction after checking into rehab
The Jersey Shore star checked into a treatment facility last month. "I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion," he said at the time.
MTV recently renewed Jersey Shore for a sixth season, but production has not yet started.
