The Following Tops Midseason Watchlist Adds, Record Month for TVGuide.com

Kevin Bacon

The Following is the most popular midseason show, according to TVGuide.com users' Watchlist adds — and it definitely shows.

The Fox serial killer thriller, starring Kevin Bacon, was the most-added new midseason series on TVGuide.com's Watchlist and that excitement has been reflected in the show's ratings. The drama premiered last week to 10.4 million viewers and a 3.1 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic and this week became the only new drama this season to grow in its second week.

NBC's Deception and 1600 Penn follow in second and third place and have performed well, with the former even beating CBS' Hawaii Five-0.

For second fall TV season in a row, Watchlist users correctly predicted the season's hits: Eight of the 10 most-added new shows received full-season pickups.

What are Watchlist users looking forward to this spring? Check out the top 10 below.

1. The Following (Fox)
2. Deception (NBC)
3. 1600 Penn (NBC)
4. The Carrie Diaries (The CW)
5. Zero Hour (ABC)
6. Cult (The CW)
7. Do No Harm (NBC)
8. Red Widow (ABC)
9. Mistresses (ABC)
10. Crossbones (NBC)
