Network TV's dance card is getting pretty full.

Michael Flatley (aka the Lord of the Dance) has signed on to host NBC's new dance-competition show Superstar Dancers of the World, according to Variety.

So You Think You Can Dance producer Nigel Lythgoe first told TVGuide.com about the new series (which he is producing with Dance and former American Idol partner Simon Fuller) when he stopped by our studio last week. Lythgoe likened the series to a dance Olympics, featuring the best dancers from across the globe. Teams from the U.S., Ireland, India, Argentina, China, Russia, South Africa and Australia will be represented.

Flatley stopped by Dancing with the Stars earlier this season to fill in for absent head judge Len Goodman. How do you think he will handle emcee duties?
