So You Think You Can Dance - Mia Michaels

Mia Michaels isn't done with So You Think You Can Dance just yet: The Emmy-winning choreographer will judge the Season 7 audition rounds in New York, TVGuide.com has learned.

Michaels, who left the show last season citing "other opportunities to take my art to the next level," joined executive producer Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman on the judging panel at The Paradise Theater in the Bronx Tuesday.

While Michaels is only confirmed for the New York tryouts at this time, she has never fully ruled out a return to the show. "[Nigel and I] have a great relationship and if it's meant to be, it'll be," she told TVGuide.com in November, shortly after announcing her exit. "But right now, I'm focusing on my brand, exploring my new shows and a few other things."

Michaels has contributed to So You Think You Can Dance as a judge and choreographer since its inception. She won an Emmy in 2007 for her choreography on the show and was nominated again in 2008.

Dance's seventh season returns this summer. Auditions for the new season have already been held in Miami.

Are you excited to have Michaels back in the fold? Do you hope she sticks around for more?
