The Mentalist Gets Full Season Order

How psyched is CBS about The Mentalist? So much so that it has given it a full season order.
But who didn't see this coming? (No pun intended.) Averaging 16.14 million viewers, the Simon Baker-led drama, about a psychic-turned-cop, is the fall's top-rated new series in total viewers and in the 25-54 demographic.
Tuesday night's airing trumped Dancing with the Stars' result show 14.86 million to 14.37 million.
The Mentalist is the third freshman series to receive a season pick-up, following 90210 and Fringe.
