I'm so excited for The Americans to return. What do you know? — Trisha
Paige, Phillip and Elizabeth's precocious daughter, will be bringing down the old hammer and sickle on her folks when she refuses to give up her quest to find out the truth about them. Complicating matters: Phillip is forced to use his son Henry during an impromptu mission that results in several casualties.
Thanks for the scoop on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! What else is coming up? — Tina
Never mind Tuesday's reveal about Coulson, Clark Gregg says he was just as shocked to learn the truth of Skye's lineage, which Coulson and May will discover in next week's episode. But will he tell Skye what happened to her parents? "Coulson's dilemma is, how much can you decide what people get to know about their own basic truths, and if you do that, how are you different than the people that you're fighting?" Gregg says.
What can we expect on The Mindy Project? — Marilynn
I hear that Kevin Smith will make another cameo in an episode in which the doctors head to Los Angeles for a conference. In the same episode, Mindy will run into Casey and the boys will pay homage to Entourage. Everybody hug it out, bitches!
Excited about the return of Pablo Schreiber to Law & Order: SVU! — Marie
Is excited the right word? I mean, he's playing a really bad guy, Marie! Lewis' return will traumatize Det. Benson anew when he decides to represent himself in court. His defense: Benson faked the kidnapping! Mark my words, the final moments of the episode will really get your blood boiling — and will leave open the possibility that The Beast will return.
What can you tell me about the upcoming Bones episodes? — Gina
The crew's latest nemesis, "The Ghost Killer," takes center stage in the Jan. 10 episode, even though he (or, if Pelant is to be believed, she) never makes an appearance. Nevertheless, the killer, true to his/her name, haunts Brennan. The first sign (other than her nightmares) that Brennan is rattled? She jumps to conclusions that — gasp! — aren't founded in logic or evidence. Even worse, her colleagues at the Jeffersonian (and Booth) begin to doubt her usually impeccable judgment. Is this exactly the killer's plan?
Do you know what's coming up during the second half of The Walking Dead? — Donny
With Carl and Rick out on their own, things will be looking pretty bleak when the show returns. But executive producer Robert Kirkman teases a happy ending. "We started the season pretty hopeful and pretty optimistic," he says. "We'll open our last half of the season pretty bleak and we'll move them to something a little more hopeful by the end." Does this mean that Alexandria is on the horizon?
Do you have any new scoop on CSI? — Jeff
Remember how Greg once mentioned that he was the captain of his high school chess team? Well, that dubious achievement will come in handy when the team tracks a serial killer who plans out attacks on his victims several moves in advance. (Fun fact: The word "checkmate" comes from the Persian term shah mat, which is often translated to mean "the king is dead.")
Are we going to meet Monroe's son on Revolution soon? — Trina
Yes, but first they need to save Miles' life. Beware! The primitive course of treatment they employ will have you reaching for the barf bags. Once you recover, you'll see Sebastian's relentless pursuit of his son Connor (Mat Vairo), which will lead him south of the border. In a nifty reversal of fortune, Mexico is actually quite prosperous... for one person in particular. Let's just say that the manzana doesn't fall far from the arbol.
Got any juicy Justified tidbits? — Martin
Boyd is pretty lonely this season. Ava's in jail and most of his former allies are gone. Couple that with the unexpected trickiness of running his new heroin empire, and you have a Boyd on the edge. "He's just barely treading water," Walton Goggins says. "He's kind of a dog wagging his tail; he's just chasing it around and around. It's a very dangerous place for a person like Boyd to be." That will become even truer when he learns that someone very close to him has betrayed him.
Will we find out what happened to Barry Allen when Arrow returns? — Jonah
Yes, and Oliver won't be too happy about the repercussions of Barry's accident, since they will draw Felicity out of Starling City when he needs her the most. Olicity fans, brace yourself for a devastating lovers' quarrel. (Fine, I know they're not lovers, but a girl can dream.)
Are they ever going to address the camera crew on Parks and Recreation like they did with The Office? — Hector
Perhaps in the upcoming 100th episode? Perhaps not. "I would never say never, but I'm 99.9 percent sure that it will never be addressed," executive producer Mike Schur tells me. "It's a stylistic contrivance of the way the show is shot and not a plot point in the actual show."
Any scoop on Pretty Little Liars? — Kelli
Yes, and it's straight from the mouth of the recently-revealed-to-be-alive Alison! "There are a few key things you see this season that really scar you," Sasha Pieterse says. "It's really disturbing the way the night of Ali's disappearance went down." Pieterse also teases that this season's finale will also include "a very specific thing that happens that's scary," but it will be the perfect way to cap off the season. Too bad we have months to wait!
Mega Rave: The Good Wife has always excelled at misdirection, but the unexpected resolution to the "which Peter impregnated Marilyn?" kerfuffle was nothing short of brilliant.
Mini Rant: I was hoping that the mention of amnesia in the promos for Revenge was a red herring, but — sigh — no, it wasn't.
This week's must-watch: Ron Moore's Helix (premieres Friday at 10/9c). Think Battlestar Galactica meets The Walking Dead.
