McCain Visits Tonight Show for First Post-Election TV Appearance

John McCain

Sen. John McCain will make his first television appearance since losing the 2008 Presidential Election on the Nov. 11 episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The Arizona senator and former prisoner of war in Vietnam will help Jay & Co. celebrate Veterans Day. The Kaiser Chiefs are the scheduled musical guest.

McCain's last late-night pit stop turned into a mini-feud with David Letterman. After the then-presidential candidate canceled an appearance on The Late Show because of the economic emergency in Washington, the CBS live feed in the control room caught McCain prepping for an interview with CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric.

Will you be tuning in to see what post-campaign McCain has to say?
