Mayim Bialik Tapped for Role on The Big Bang Theory

Blossom star Mayim Bialik has landed a possibly recurring role on The Big Bang Theory, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The 34-year-old actress will play Victoria, a potential love interest for romantically apathetic Sheldon (Jim Parsons). Victoria, described as a female Sheldon, and Sheldon go on a date after they are paired on an online dating site. Bialik will appear in the series' May 24 season finale and may return next season, according to EW.

Bialik, best known for her turn as Blossom Russo, has most recently appeared on The Secret Life of the American Teenager and 'Til Death.
