Matt's Weekend Picks: August 6-8

Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights
(Friday, 8/7c, NBC) The fourth season ends on a bittersweet Thanksgiving note, as Riggins takes one for the team, family-style, while Principal Tami contemplates a profound career decision and Coach Eric prepares for his underdog East Dillon Lions to face his old team, the Panthers. Fans can give thanks there's still one more season to come.

Eureka
(Friday, 9/8c, Syfy) The crossover stunt with Warehouse 13 continues as Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) pays a visit to the mountain town to take in the sights and is dismayed to find seemingly random objects popping up all over Eureka. These anomalies could have especially dire consequences for Dr. Grant (James Callis) unless Claudia can solve the mystery.

Entourage
(Sunday, 10/9c, HBO) Some of the most fun this show ever had was when Ari sparred with studio hotshot Amanda Daniels (the always-foxy Carla Gugino). Prepare yourself for a new round of fireworks as Ari and Amanda clash over Ari's former associate Lizzie, with a potential lawsuit hanging in the balance.

Army Wives
(Lifetime, 10/9c, Sunday) It's a public service announcement wrapped up in a drama, as Dr. Jill Biden (wife of vice-president Joe Biden) appears as herself, meeting with military spouses (including real-life Army wives) to discuss their challenges while Fort Marshall hosts an annual "Fun Run" to benefit a summer camp for military kids.
