Mary Tyler Moore is "recovering nicely" from brain surgery to remove a benign tumor, her rep tells The Associated Press.

Moore will not require additional surgery, Erica Tarin said. She did not say when or where the surgery took place.
The procedure removed a meningioma, a benign tumor on the lining tissue of the brain.
Moore, 74, is best known for her sitcom work, first on The Dick Van Dyke Show and then The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She recently made a guest appearance on Hot in Cleveland, reuniting with her Mary Tyler Moore co-star Betty White.
