Marla Gibbs to Guest-Star on Southland

It's a 227 reunion! Marla Gibbs will guest-star in an upcoming episode of procedural drama Southland, alongside 227 co-star Regina King. (Now, where's Jackee?)
Gibbs will take on the role of Granny, a relative of a murder suspect being investigated by Detective Lydia Adams (King) on the TNT series. The episode will air Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 10/9c.

Aside from playing housewife Mary Jenkins on the NBC sitcom 227, Gibbs is best known for her portrayal of Florence Johnston, the sassy, wise-cracking maid on The Jeffersons.
Season 4 of Southland premieres Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 10/9c on TNT.
