Mariska Hargitay "Recovering Well" in Hospital

Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay is on the road to recovery, and will likely be solving on-screen crimes again soon.
"Mariska is recovering well and is expected to return to SVU in the next couple of weeks," reps for the actress and the NBC series said Monday in a joint statement. While TVGuide.com confirmed that SVU's production wouldn't be affected by her absence, one source says that the actress' alter ego, Det. Olivia Benson, has been written out of at least one episode as a result of Hargitay's hospitalization.
Hargitay was hospitalized for the third time last week for discomfort related to a pneumothorax (a collapsed lung), which she suffered in January.
