Marion Cotillard Joins New Batman Movie

Oscar winner Marion Cotillard has signed on for the upcoming Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, People reports.
Anne Hathaway cast in next Batman film
Details about the 35-year-old French actress' role are scarce, but the movie will reunite Cotillard with her Inception director Christopher Nolan and co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy. The film also stars Christian Bale as Batman and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (Catwoman's alter ego).
The film is expected to wrap shooting in November ahead of its scheduled release date in July 2012.
Cotillard, who won an Oscar for her role in La Vie en Rose, will next be seen in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, which opens in May at the Cannes Film Fesitval. Cotillard is also expecting a baby in April.
