Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have named their twins Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon, they announced on Carey's website.
Daughter Monroe is named after Marilyn Monroe, who Carey calls an inspiration. Son Moroccan's name comes from the top tier of Carey's New York City apartment, which features Moroccan-inspired decor. It's also the spot where Cannon proposed.

The twins were born April 30 — the couple's third wedding anniversary — in Los Angeles.
