Report: Marc Anthony Joining The X Factor as Mentor

Marc Anthony's ex-wife Jennifer Lopez recently stepped down from her post as a judge on American Idol — but now he's reportedly entered the reality singing competition arena.
Anthony has signed a deal to join Season 2 of The X Factor as a celebrity mentor for Simon Cowell's team, TMZ reports.
It won't be the first time Anthony has judged performers. He and Lopez teamed up earlier this year for Q'Viva!: The Chosen, a reality series that featured the former couple traveling throughout Latin America looking to recruit talent for an all-Latin performance group in Las Vegas.
Justin Bieber mentors X Factor contestants with L.A. Reid
Justin Bieber has also signed on as a celebrity mentor for the upcoming season of The X Factor, teaming up with L.A. Reid. Nick Jonas is reportedly joining Demi Lovato's team, but there's no word on who will be teaming up with the fourth judge, Britney Spears.
The X Factor returns Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 8/7c on Fox.
