Marc Anthony says he'll always love Jennifer Lopez.
In his first interview since the couple announced their split, Anthony says that the breakup was a mutual decision and not caused by anything "sensationalistic."

"People are trying to peg it on things because it was so shocking. It was like, it must have been something...It wasn't something sensationalistic," Anthony told Nightline's John Quinones. "Celebrity-watching and speculation is almost like a sport."
In July, Anthony and Lopez said they were separating after seven years of marriage. They called the decision difficult, but amicable.
"These things happen," Anthony said. "This is not a funeral ... This is just two people who came together and just realized ... that it wasn't sustainable the way it was, and that's that."

The pair, who has 3-year-old twins Max and Emme, will continue to work together on their upcoming talent show project Q'Viva! The Chosen. "We're going to be in each other's lives for many, many, many years, and I'm glad that our friendship is that strong ... What would make it difficult is if we didn't get along," he said. "I'll always love Jennifer. She knows that...my kids know that."
