Man Sentenced in Tyra Banks' Stalking

Tyra Banks

A man convicted of stalking Tyra Banks has been sentenced to one year probation and must stay away from the model-turned-talk show host for two years under an order of protection.

Brady Green, of Dublin, Ga., was also ordered Thursday to take a treatment program for stalkers, the Associated Press reports. If he violates any of the orders, Green, 39, would face 90 days in jail, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Burke said.

Green was convicted of stalking, harassment, criminal trespass and attempted aggravated harassment in April, a month after he was arrested near Banks' Manhattan studio.

Banks testified during the trial that she feared for her safety and that of her staff and family. She was not present for the sentencing.
