Man Arrested Trying to Get in Seacrest's Car

A man who tried to get into a car with Ryan Seacrest has been arrested, police say.
Sgt. Dan Adams of the Orange Police Department said Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. tried to enter the American Idol host's vehicle as he was leaving a charity appearance at Children's Hospital of Orange County on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press.

Uzomah is accused of choking a security guard who tried to stop him from entering the vehicle, says Adams. The suspect, who is expected to be arraigned on Friday, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon or force likely to cause great bodily injury.
The police sergeant also added that Seacrest pulled away and was not involved in the scuffle.
