Rep: Lost's Malcolm David Kelley "Shaken" After Attempted Burglary

Malcolm David Kelley was the victim of an attempted burglary Friday morning, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
The 17-year-old Lost actor was home alone at his family residence in Bellflower, Calif., when an individual broke into the family's pool house through a window after knocking on the front door, according to his spokesman, Dominic Friesen. Kelley heard a noise and called the police and his mother.

The suspect tried to break into the main residence, but heard the police and attempted to flee the scene of the crime, according to Friesen. Police fired a shot at the suspect. The authorities currently have a suspect in custody.
"Malcolm and his family are currently working with law enforcement as they investigate the frightening chain of events that occurred at their residence earlier today," Friesen said in a statement. "Although understandably shaken, Malcolm is safe and uninjured, and truly appreciates the overwhelming support received by fans."
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported a burglary in the area, but would not confirm the victim's name. The news was first reported by TMZ.
Best known for his performance as Walt Lloyd on Lost, Kelley is set to star in the new TeenNick series Gigantic, which premieres in July.
