Lawless will play a powerful woman (quite the stretch!) and potential adversary for the Powell family whose agenda could put them in danger. Her arc, which will last at least five episodes, will carry the sci-fi dramedy through the end of the season.
After shooting No Ordinary Family, Lawless will return to New Zealand to begin filming the new season of Spartacus with new lead Liam McIntyre, who replaced the ailing Andy Whitfield.

TVGuide.com caught up with Lawless to get the scoop on the drama's racy sex scenes. "The minute they call cut, I blank it out!" she says. "I was very blessed to have John Hannah and Jaime Murray as my accomplices — my great colleagues and friends. Lawless also shares her thoughts on Whitfield's departure how it was a "torturous process" to recast Spartacus. Plus: Find out what it was about McIntyre that impressed everyone.
