Jenny McCarthy will make her debut as the new host of NBC's Love in the Wild on Thursday, June 7 at 8/7c, the network announced Thursday.
The two-hour season kick-off of the dating competition will be followed by the series premiere of the Canadian medical drama, tentatively titled Saving Hope, at 10/9c. Love in the Wild, which debuted last summer with host Darren McMullen, puts contestants through rigorous tasks and challenges while trying to find love. Saving Hope stars Smallville alum Erica Durance, who plays surgeon whose personal and professional life is turned upside down when her fiancé Charlie — who is also the chief of surgery at her hospital — ends up in a coma. Vampire Diaries' Daniel Gillies also stars.
