NBC (Finally) Schedules Love Bites

The hourlong comedy anthology Love Bites finally has an airdate.
The NBC series, starring Ugly Betty's Becki Newton, will debut Thursday, June 2 (10/9c) for a nine-week run, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Love Bites bumped off fall schedule
Bites has waited quite a while to make it to air. It was removed from the fall prime-time schedule last July, and replaced by The Apprentice. Among the series' problems: Former co-star Jordana Spiro had to pull out because of contractual issues with her TBS comedy My Boys, which was canceled soon after. Newton, who plays a virgin in the Bites pilot, became pregnant, and Cindy Chupack stepped down as showrunner.
Newton has since been cast in CBS' Untitled Filgos Project, which is under consideration for a fall pick-up, so Love Bites appears to be dead on arrival.
