Lost Series Finale Now Eligible for Emmy Nominations

Lost

The TV Academy's board has decided to amend the rules for Emmy submission, allowing Lost's series finale to be in contention.

Damon Lindelof: Jacob and the Man in Black are not "the epitome of what Lost is"

On Wednesday, it voted to update rules on extended episodes, so the ABC show may now submit the 2½-hour series finale. Previously, a submission could not be more than twice the length of a series' normal running time (or two hours for a typical prime-time drama).

Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, the producers of the hit series, recently appeared on CBS' Late Show with David Letterman to dole out the top 10 series finale spoilers. Check out the video:

The series finale of Lost will air Sunday at 9/8c.
