After two years away from the judges table, Paula Abdul soon will be with her new competition series Live to Dance. Based on the trailer, her new show is more America's Got Talent than American Idol. Unlike Idol, there's is no age limit as pint-sized performers are seen competing against seniors. There are also groups mixed in with solo dancers, and a wide variety of dance styles on display.

Abdul is still the same quirky, off-the-wall judge who knows how to get fans' heads scratching. Case in point: "I want different. I want new. I want amazing people that live in their unique ability."
