Lionel Luthor Returning to Smallville

Smallville is bringing Lionel Luthor back from the dead for the series' final season, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Actor John Glover, who portrayed Lex Luthor's father for seven seasons, has signed on to appear in at least two episodes this November. It remains unclear exactly how Lionel will appear, since Lex killed him in the Season 7 finale. Similarly, the dearly departed Jonathan Kent (John Schneider), who died from a heart attack, will show up this season as well.
