Lindsay Lohan says her profane fingernail message during her probation hearing "had nothing to do" with the court.

"Didn't we do our nails as a joke with our friend dc?" Lohan tweeted to a friend. "It had nothing to do w/court. It's an airbrush design from a stencil."
The explicit message was printed on the nail of the actress' left middle finger, which she repeatedly held to her mouth during Tuesday's hearing.
Lindsay Lohan sentenced to 90 days in jail
Lohan, 24, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in an in-patient substance abuse program after she was found to be in violation of her probation from a 2007 DUI case. She is to surrender for jail on July 20.
