Lindsay Lohan in Talks to Play Elizabeth Taylor
Is Lindsay Lohan about to play Liz?
After posing for Playboy as Marilyn Monroe, Lohan may emulate another Hollywood icon in Elizabeth Taylor. The actress is in talks to play the two-time Oscar winner in the Lifetime TV movie Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, Deadline reports.

The project, which has been in development since May from producer Larry Thompson (Amish Grace), will focus on Taylor's highly publicized and tempestuous romance with Richard Burton, whom she married twice.
Like Taylor, who died in March at 79, Lohan was a child star who's seen plenty of highs and lows, but the 25-year-old has yet to match Taylor's acclaim and achievements (let alone the number of husbands) at the same age.
Look back at Elizabeth Taylor's most memorable film roles
This would be Lohan's first major role in years. She most recently co-starred in 2010's Machete and was once attached to a Linda Lovelace biopic, but her legal troubles made insuring her for the film impossible. Lohan did her fifth stint in jail in four years in November for violation of her probation.
What do you think of the potential casting? Will this be the beginning of a career comeback for Lindsay? Who would you cast as Liz and Dick?
