The upcoming third season of Lie to Me promises to be edgier and grittier than ever. So it makes sense that the new cast photo — which you can see below — would follow suit.
Lie to Me: End of the line for Lightman and Reynolds
Season 3 finds Lightman (Tim Roth) and his team working above the law after severing its ties with the FBI. But, as also hinted in the photo, Lightman's rogue attitude will dramatically test the relationships and dynamics of The Lightman Group. In particular, a wedge is driven between Lightman and Foster (Kelli Williams), creating devastating consequences.
Meanwhile, Lightman is under pressure from his publisher to finish his new book, and Foster enlists a group of university students to help him focus on the project, even though he'd rather ignore it.
Lie to Me premieres Monday, Oct. 4 at 9/8c on Fox.
