Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester Wins in Legal Claim Against Her Mother

A judge has ruled in Leighton Meester's favor in the case against her own mother, who has misused money the Gossip Girl star had sent home, TMZ.com reports.

Last year, Meester sued her mother, claiming that the $7,500 a month she had sent home to provide for her younger brother who has medical issues, was being spent by her mother, Constance, to pay for cosmetic procedures for herself, along with other personal expenses.
Constance argued that Meester had promised to take care of her, which is why she spent the cash, but the judge ruled in favor of Meester. The 26-year-old actress did not sue in attempts to recover any of the money.
