As expected, Leah Remini will not be returning to The Talk for its second season, she confirmed on Twitter.
"It is official: I am sorry to say that I have NOT been asked back on the show. Sorry to my fans. U worked so hard! I adore u guys," she tweeted. After someone replied asking why, Remini tweeted back, "No reason was given."

Remini's Twitter timeline is scattered with replies to followers saying that she is "upset," that she "will miss it" and that she is "praying for Holly Robinson Peete," her fellow Talk-er who's also reportedly on the Season 2 chopping block.
Sharon Osbourne to take Talk break
For Peete's part, she tweeted support for Remini, saying that she was "devastated" by the news and that Remini brought "humor, heart and authenticity" to the show. As for her own future with the show, Peete tweeted, "Still under contract but have not been picked up yet. #fingerscrossed #realtalk."
Remini's costars Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert and Julie Chen have yet to tweet on the subject of Remini's departure.
