LeAnn Rimes

LeAnn Rimes went public for the first time about her marital woes at a Utah concert held over the weekend.

Rimes, who has not officially confirmed reports of a split between her and husband Dean Sheremet, spoke about the low points of a relationship before performing "God Takes Care of Your Kind" at the Deer Valley Music Festival on Saturday, Us Weekly reports.

"It is inevitable that sometimes in a relationship, you will have your heart broken," the country singer said to the crowd. "Sometimes you don't do anything, but sometimes you want revenge. Sometimes you don't [exact revenge], and that's when you just leave it in God's hands and know that He will take care of it."

On the same day, Sheremet thanked fans for their support during a "difficult time," on Twitter. The couple reportedly split after seven years of marriage and are no longer living together, a source told People.

Reports of Rimes' separation from Sheremet came days after Brandi Glanville accused the singer of continuing an affair with her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, four months after initial adultery allegations surfaced. Glanville says she left Cibrian, who co-starred with Rimes in the Lifetime movie Northern Lights, as a result.
