She will star in the Fox comedy pilot from Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The 54-year-old actress will play a mother of four who must balance her recent sobriety with her duties for the family-run company: a brewery.

More recently, Metcalf earned an Emmy nomination for her 2007 appearance on Desperate Housewives and has guest-starred on several episodes of The Big Bang Theory as Sheldon's mom.
