The Shield Star Joins AMC Zombie Drama

The Shield's Laurie Holden has joined the cast of AMC's apocalyptic zombie drama, The Walking Dead, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Holden will play Andrea, a survivor who falls for a man twice her age.
Holden, 37, is best known for her recurring roles on The Shield and The X-Files. She also appeared in The Majestic, The Mist and Silent Hill.
