Gilmore Girl Lauren Graham is in talks to replace Maura Tierney on NBC's midseason show, Parenthood, according to EW.
Maura Tierney leaves Parenthood to accommodate cancer treatment
Graham, 42, has been offered the role of Sarah, who was previously played by Tierney, a source tells EW. After the show pushed back production to accommodate Tierney's breast cancer surgery, the actress dropped out of the role altogether to focus on her treatment and recovery. NBC then eyed Helen Hunt, 46, to replace Tierney, but negotiations have fallen apart.
