Late Show Executive Producer: We Wanted Conan for Super Bowl Promo, Too

The Letterman-Leno-Oprah Super Bowl promo had everyone buzzing during the big game, but, according to Late Show executive producer Rob Burnett, the threesome might have been a foursome — with Conan O'Brien.
Super Bowl: Doritos dominates; Saints win
"There was an initial thought of having Dave, Jay and Conan together in the spot," Burnett told TheWrap. "I did call Jeff Ross [O'Brien's producer] to talk about it."
But the idea never came to fruition as Team Coco was finishing up production on The Tonight Show.
"It wasn't as if they even said no," Burnett said. "I just think they weren't in a position to consider it all."
