Time for a new set of wheels: Lance Armstrong and his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, welcomed a son Thursday night, the seven-time Tour de France champion announced on Twitter.
Or rather, the new tyke did the honors himself. "Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My Mommy is healthy and so am I!" reads the tweet. The post also includes a photo of Max mugging for the camera with his tongue sticking out. Ever the proud papa, the pro cyclist uploaded a second photo of his new son catching some Zs on Friday.
Max, who weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces, is the first child for the couple. Armstrong, a testicular cancer survivor, has three children, Luke, 9, and twins, Isabelle and Grace, 7, with ex-wife Kristin. The three children were conceived using in-vitro fertilization with sperm Armstrong banked before undergoing chemotherapy. Armstrong did not announce if Max was conceived the same way.
