Will Kyle XY Leave Its Fans Cliff-hanging?

The bad news: Kyle XY is in the midst of its final season. The good news: Fans of ABC Family's version of Starman-meets-One Tree Hill can count on some closure.
Well, for the most part.
The same way that kind Kyle is missing a navel, the series-ender will be missing one big piece of resolution. And that's because the show-runners were, for the most part, unprepared for this week's announcement that its third season will be its last.
"While the producers of Kyle XY were not preparing for a series finale, rather just the season finale, some of the storylines and plots will get resolved in the final episode," a network rep tells TVGuide.com.
There's a "but" coming, you just know it. And here ... it ... is.
"But there is a cliff-hanger that is left open," adds the ABC Family rep. "Sorry!"
