Kristin Chenoweth Released from Hospital After Injury on The Good Wife Set
Kristin Chenoweth has been released from the hospital after being injured on the set of The Good Wife.
"Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering," her rep said in a statement. "She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes."
On Wednesday afternoon, the actress was struck by a lighting silk that blew during a gust of wind. "She received treatment on the scene by the show's medic until a New York Fire Department emergency medical team arrived and transported her to the hospital. All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery," CBS said in a statement.

The 43-year-old actress — whose credits include Pushing Daisies, Glee and GCB — was recently cast as a top political journalist who wants the inside scoop on Peter Florrick's campaign for governor, as well as his and Alicia's marriage. She will first appear in the Season 4 premiere, slated to air Sunday, Sept. 30 at 9/8c on CBS.
