Kristen Wiig Returns to SNL: Which Characters Did She Resurrect?
Saturday Night Live
Kristen Wiig hosted Saturday Night Live this week, returning to the stage for the first time since leaving the show "11 months and 30 days ago," as she noted in her opening monologue. The Bridesmaids star resurrected several of the characters she made famous, including Gilly, the Target lady, Garth and Kat (with Fred Armisen), and Dooneese (the creepy lady with baby hands and a huge forehead). She also brought with her Jonah Hill and her real-life BFF (and Bridesmaids co-star) Maya Rudolph. Watch some of the night's best sketches below:

Opening Monologue: Wiig is excited to be back at Studio 8H, as evidenced by this opening monologue musical number, which features cameos from Hill, Rudolph and Lorne Michaels (and Gilly). But how much does she really remember about being on the show?
1-800-Flowers: Kate McKinnon stars as Wiig's mother in this Mother's Day parody commercial.
Acupuncture: Attention: not for the weak-stomached! This gross-out sketch features Wiig as an acupuncturist whose treatment of a patient (Jason Sudeikis) goes horribly, horribly wrong.
Socialite CD: Check out this greatest hits compilation, featuring songs from Real Housewives-esque ladies ("newer, not famous socialites"). It's called "Classy Sexy Elegnace" — and no, that's not a typo.
