Kiefer Sutherland's first post-24 starring role is on a new web series called The Confession, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The 10 five-to-seven-minute webisodes follow a hitman (Sutherland) who discusses why his victims deserved to die with a priest (John Hurt).
24 movie in jeopardy after Fox passes on script
The series was shot over nine days in New York during a snow storm. The 44-year-old actor was in rehearsals for his Broadway debut, That Championship Season, at the time.
Fox recently axed the script for a big-screen adaptation of 24.
The Confession, written and directed by Brad Mirman (The Good Shepherd), hits Hulu in March.
