Kid Rock and President Obama: "No Hard Feelings" After Election

President Barack Obama and noted Mitt Romney supporter Kid Rock met face-to-face at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. this weekend — but the encounter went surprisingly well, according to Rock.
"It was nice," Rock told CNN." I saw the president tonight. He said, 'I'm still here.' I said, 'No hard feelings.'"

The exchange happened during a reception at the White House before the awards ceremony Sunday, according to CNN.
In the months leading up to November's presidential election, Romney used Rock's song "Born Free" at numerous events on the campaign trail. Though Rock admitted to being disappointed about the election results, he's ready to move past it.

"You cross your fingers, you try to move forward, you hope for the best," he told CNN. "You respect the office of the president of the United States, and the great thing is in four years, we get to choose again."
