Kevin Abbott, the executive producer behind Last Man Standing and Malibu Country, is on "indefinite medical leave" after voluntarily checking into rehab — but both shows will go on, Deadline reports.
Abbott's absence will not halt production on Last Man Standing, the Tim Allen sitcom that will kick off its second season on ABC Nov. 2, according to Deadline. Although Abbott serves as executive producer on the show, he was replaced as showrunner by Tim Doyle earlier this year.

Abbott has recently been focusing his efforts on Malibu Country, a new sitcom starring Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin that premieres Nov. 2 on ABC, for which he is the creator, executive producer and showrunner. The show will not halt production, Deadline reports.
