Ken Ehrlich will executive-produce this year's Primetime Emmy Awards, CBS announced Friday.
Ehrlich, a longtime Grammy Awards producer, has produced the Emmys five times, but not since 2008.

"Ken has been a great partner with CBS throughout the years on many specials," Jack Sussman, CBS' executive vice president of specials, music and live events said in a statement. "The incredible ratings success of the Grammy Awards, particularly in recent years, demonstrates his talent for packaging industry celebrations into exciting live television events with tremendous energy and entertainment. We're thrilled to have him on board as executive producer of this year's Emmy Awards."

star Neil Patrick Harris hosted the last time CBS carried the Emmys in 2009.
The 65th Annual Emmy Awards will be broadcast live Sunday, Sept. 22 from Los Angeles' Nokia Theater.
