There is, of course, more to Laurel than at first appears. She's also the mother of one of Matthews' students.
Lynch, 50, rocketed to fame playing a heroin addict who turns to crime in 1989's Drugstore Cowboy (opposite Matt Dillon). More recently, she played a villain in the first Charlie's Angels movie and a "drag king" on Showtime's The L Word.
