Kelly Clarkson to Return to American Idol Stage Thursday

Kelly Clarkson will return to the American Idol stage Thursday, Fox announced.
The Season 1 winner, 28, will perform "Don't You Wanna Stay" with country singer Jason Aldean on Thursday's results show. Rihanna will also take the stage Thursday.

Clarkson recently announced via Facebook that her fifth studio album will hit stores in September. She last appeared on Idol at the end of last season for a farewell performance to judge Simon Cowell.
This week, Idol's remaining top 8 will perform songs from the movies.
