American Idol fans aren't the only ones waiting to find out who will join the judges' table next season: Keith Urban is too!
"I have no official information of anything," the country singer told The Associated Press. "I'm pretty much in the same boat as everybody else here with the rumors that have been floating around. It was like this before I signed on ... so it's not unusual for the Idol folks to be in this place of figuring out what they want to do, then they always pull it together."
Jennifer Hudson in talks to join American Idol
Earlier this month, it was reported that Urban, along with Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, would be dropped from the show next season. Jackson has since confirmed his exit.
Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly wouldn't comment on the remaining judges, but said it was likely that the singing show would return to a three-judge panel. Former contestant Jennifer Hudson is reportedly in talks to join the table.

Despite this season's rocky road, which included falling ratings and constant battles between Carey and Minaj, Urban said he loved working with the contestants. "I love the beginnings of artists when all they've got is raw talent and nothing else," he said. "They've got no star power, just nothing going on but just this raw talent that's just beautiful to see, and you look at them and just go, 'All you're needing is life experience ... because you've got everything else ready to go.'"
